Pressures lower than 10^-7 torr obtainable. No need for cold trap. Good pumping speed and no corrosive deposits or vapors. Oil C obtains the highest vacuum pressure (10-7 torr) of all of the oils.

They are ready for immediate use. The top protective liner does not have to be removed until the sample is ready to be mounted. This reduces possible contamination. Outgassing is negligible.
